Geeks Who Drink, Gourmand's and Lone Star Victims Advocacy Project invite you and five of your smartest friends to form a team and come join us for trivia on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. for Quiz for a Cause!
Here are the details: Teams of up to six will compete in pub trivia. Trivia is normally free, but we're asking that each person playing trivia to pitch in at least 5 bucks. The winning team will get $5 per team playing, and LSVAP will keep the rest!
The funds that we're hoping to raise will go towards providing free legal and mental health resources to immigrant survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault living in rural Texas. LSVAP clients live in poverty, and are isolated not only by geography, but language as well. Please support our mission to provide these life-saving resources to those in need!
Though the quiz begins at 8:00pm, we encourage y'all to arrive about 30 minutes before hand. Please invite your friends and colleagues - the more folks that attend and play, the more $$$ we can raise for a great cause!
